A car thief's escape attempt in Corine was thwarted when he couldn't release the handbrake of a stolen Mazda, leaving tyre marks as he struggled to flee a bottle shop. Adam Breen, a Muay Thai-trained witness, pursued and detained the offender in a citizen's arrest after the thief stole bottles of spirits from Dan Murphy's. Police later discovered a knife among the thief's belongings.
