Iranian media and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have revealed the missile systems they say were used during the latest phase of Operation Nasr 2. According to Iranian reports, the Khaybar Shekan, Fatah and Zulfiqar ballistic missiles were launched as part of strikes targeting US military facilities in the region. Iranian authorities say the operation was carried out in response to continued US military actions and the reimposition of a naval blockade.
