Officials Investigate Fatal ICE Shooting in Maine as Fallout Grows

There is a growing demand for answers after a fatal ICE-involved shooting in Maine. According to an ICE spokesperson, the shooting happened when agents tried to conduct a traffic stop and, they say, the vehicle tried to get away. That’s when ICE says an agent opened fire “fearing for public safety.” The incident, which was partly captured on video, is the second fatal shooting involving ICE agents in the past week.
