Ex-army major jailed for life over family's murder

Former army major Peter Mugure has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the 2019 murders of his wife, Joyce Syombua, and their two children, Shanice Maua and Prince Michael, in Nanyuki. The former soldier says he will appeal both his murder conviction and the life sentence imposed by the court.
