After weeks of training, it was time for Shaly Farid's final test: Recreating Hajjah Roziah Adon's signature ayam penyet for a panel of judges. The judges praised the dish, leaving Shaly feeling more confident and motivated to keep improving. Hajjah then said the sambal tasted just like her own before accepting Shaly to carry her name at his stall. "Thank you for everything you taught me, Hajjah," says Shaly. Watch the series The Hawker Apprentice, where three ex-offenders train under veteran hawkers for the chance to run their own stalls carrying their mentors' names. #cnainsider #prison #hawker #food For more, SUBSCRIBE to CNA INSIDER! https://cna.asia/insideryoutubesub Follow CNA INSIDER on: Telegram: https://t.me/CNAInsiderSG Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cnainsider/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cnainsider/ Website: https://cna.asia/cnainsider
