‘Sully’ Sullenberger Reveals Early-Stage Alzheimer’s Diagnosis

Beloved American hero, Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, who in 2009 famously landed flight 1549 safely on New York’s Hudson River, saving all 155 on board, is sharing he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. “This diagnosis will not prevent me from looking forward to and appreciating our future,” he wrote in a statement.
