What happens when the thing keeping you stuck isn't loss, but the desperate need to understand it? In this talk, I explore the psychology behind our obsession with closure. Why the brain clings to unanswered questions, what that fixation actually costs us, and the quiet but radical decision that changes everything. Drawing on the Zeigarnik effect and my own experiences of being paralyzed by unresolved endings, I reframe closure not as something another person gives you, but as the moment you choose yourself over the question. A talk about uncertainty, self worth, and what it means to step into the unknown. Not after the unfinished stories resolve, but while they are still open. Graduating with a BSc in Psychology, Ive spent the last few years turning academic insight into honest, human conversation.
