Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has told CBS News, the BBC’s US media partner, that Tehran has "never asked for a ceasefire, we have never asked even for negotiation". It follows earlier comments from US President Donald Trump that Iran wanted a deal, but he was unwilling to agree to one "because the terms are not good enough yet". Meanwhile, The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) says it is expanding the scope of its strikes against the Iranian regime's infrastructure to include more areas in western and central Iran. The IDF says it aims to degrade the regime's "command and control capabilities". It comes as Iranian cluster bombs hit part of Tel Aviv where several people were left with minor injuries. More Israeli strikes have also taken place in and around Beirut, aimed at Hezbollah targets in the region. The Lebanese Health Ministry said 850 people have been killed as a result of attacks by Israel since the start of the recent Middle East conflict. Subscribe to our channel
