Some conversations shared using Anthropic's Claude AI were briefly found through search engines, making them publicly searchable. The chats were shared via Claude's public link feature rather than through a data breach, but many users did not realise the links could appear in search results. Anthropic has since taken steps to stop the pages appearing online, highlighting the importance of treating public AI chat links as information that could become widely accessible.
