Every day, people postpone difficult conversations because they assume someone else will step in. But what happens when everyone is waiting? Through a deeply personal story of anxiety, rejection, and building a nationwide youth movement, Malaika Mohsin demonstrates how choosing responsibility over hesitation can reshape lives, communities, and cultures. This talk is an invitation to stop waiting and start becoming the change we hope someone else will create. Malaika Mohsin is a mental health advocate, author, and Founder of Sandbox Pakistan, among the country’s first youth-led mental health awareness initiatives and the first in Jhang. She leads a network of 100+ volunteers, organizing support groups, workshops, and advocacy campaigns to reduce stigma and promote well-being. A Psychology graduate from Government College University Lahore, she is pursuing an MS in Clinical Psychology.
