An ordinary cup of coffee can represent more than a daily routine: it can become a reason to pause, continue, and look forward to another day. Puthylita Heng explores how seemingly insignificant choices can create powerful ripple effects in people’s lives. Through the symbol of coffee, she reflects on hope, resilience, and the importance of continuing to move forward during difficult moments. Puthylita Heng is a 17-year-old Grade 11 student at CIA FIRST International School. She enjoys reading digital comics and books, playing video games, coding, exploring cafés, and spending time with cats. She values growth, curiosity, and stepping outside her comfort zone. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
