Haitians in U.S. lose protection from deportation

The Haitian community is bracing for mass deportations after the Supreme Court last month sided with the Trump administration to end TPS, or Temporary Protected Status, for over 300,000 Haitians living in the United States. Community advocate Vilès Dorsainvil says many people would love to return home, but the yearslong chaos and violence in Haiti means "they do not have a country to go back to."
