Russia unleashed one of its largest bombardments of the war, firing more than 70 missiles and 280 drones overnight across Ukraine, killing at least eight people and levelling homes in cities including Lviv. The assault also spilled into neighbouring Poland, where a suspected Russian Kh-101 missile landed in a field, prompting Warsaw to launch an investigation and raising fresh concerns over NATO airspace security. Kyiv has renewed calls for greater air defence support. Al Jazeera’s Audrey MacAlpine reports from Kyiv, Ukraine.
