In 2026, however, the mood around Halo, the once-universally beloved first-person shooter is a little...odd. Halo: Campaign Evolved finally launched worldwide on July 29th after arriving in advanced access a few days prior. The first new entry, even if it is a remake, in almost five years. A return to where it all began in stunning detail courtesy of Unreal Engine 5, complete with new content in the form of three Prologue missions. Four-player co-op! No multiplayer, though, because Halo Studios aren't wizards, for crying out loud.
