Former Royal Navy commander Rear Admiral Chris Parry declares that Europe’s migrant crisis is “out of control” and accuses politicians of encouraging illegal crossings through weak borders and repeated amnesties. Chris insists maritime law allows rescued migrants to be returned to the nearest safe place, arguing that those intercepted in French territorial waters should be taken back to France. He also proposes processing asylum claims aboard a foreign-flagged ship in international waters. Speaking to Kevin O’Sullivan, Parry accuses politicians of lying about migration and says Britain must tell those crossing illegally: “You are not wanted or needed here.” Have you got a story?
