President Trump is increasing pressure on Israel over a Hamas disarmament plan that U.S. officials say could help prevent another October 7th-style attack. The proposal calls for Hamas and other armed groups to surrender their weapons, destroy terror tunnels and weapons facilities, and transition Gaza to a new governing authority, as tensions with Iran continue to escalate across the region.
