The Associated Press reports that Hamas has agreed to President Trump’s deal to disarm in a significant move that could help end the war in Gaza. The group said that it would hand over its heavy weapons once the Israeli military withdraws from Gaza. Israel has not commented on the deal. Meanwhile, Iran says it launched drone strikes targeting American military facilities in Kuwait, though there’s been no immediate confirmation from U.S. officials. U.S. Central Command said yesterday it completed another wave of strikes on sites in the Islamic Republic, including command centers as well as missile and drone facilities.
