President Trump is suggesting he may temporarily withdraw Todd Blanche's nomination for attorney general amid a standoff with two Republican senators. The president posted on social media that he is essentially willing to wait until Republican Sens. John Cornyn and Thom Tillis are out of office next year. Cornyn and Tillis have said they will not vote to advance Blanche's nomination because of the president's lawsuit settlement with the IRS, which gives Trump and his family tax audit immunity, as well as the $1.776 billion so-called "anti-weaponization fund." AXIOS congressional reporter Kate Santaliz joins Way Too Early to discuss the standoff.
