U.S. President Donald Trump announced the Freedom Haulers initiative, a programme aimed at helping military veterans transition into commercial trucking careers. Under the initiative, veterans with heavy vehicle driving experience in the armed forces will be able to fast-track their Commercial Driver's License (CDL), with many eligible to skip road tests or receive expedited training.
