Infosys has been fined €175,000 (around ₹2 crore) by France’s regional labour authority over shortcomings in its employee time-recording system. According to the regulator, the system did not fully comply with French labour requirements for tracking working hours. The case has brought back the debate around the comapny's founder Narayana Murthy’s 70-hour workweek remarks, which sparked discussions on productivity and work-life balance. However, the case is about compliance with time-recording rules, not allegations of excessive working hours. #infosys #70hourworkweek #france #itsector Important Playlists National News: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLK5e1a2965YXb9Oh62yur4MRCdRLL6gCt Business News: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLK5e1a2965YVXM88oXiuA1JMLZtODGP1y World News: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLK5e1a2965YW0Swy6-R3i50F5FbtDRiEe BS Decoded: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLK5e1a2965YWYuC7DEL8Lxl-rhiElowEE Want access to Business Standard’s
