'This isn't a vacation for them…airlines should be paying their flight attendants from the time they show up to work to the time they leave,' Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre told reporters on Friday after being asked for his thoughts on a possible WestJet strike. The airline's flight attendants issued a 72-hour strike notice on July 30, which the airline responded to with a 72-hour lockout notice.
