Spain's North African territory of Ceuta is experiencing a dramatic surge in migrant crossings, with nearly 60,000 people entering from Morocco in the past 24 hours, many by swimming around the border fence. At least 43 people have died during the crossings, as several European countries announce measures to strengthen border security in response to the latest influx. The surge has renewed debate over migration, border management and Europe's response to irregular crossings. Al Jazeera's Rebecca Collard reports.
