Boulders crashed onto parked cars after a magnitude-4.7 earthquake struck the Campi Flegrei area west of Naples, Italy, on July 31. The shallow quake, recorded at a depth of about 3 kilometers, caused power outages, minor building damage and disruptions to local rail and metro services. Residents in several neighborhoods rushed into the streets as the tremor hit. Firefighters said they received no immediate requests to rescue residents.
