Union Home Minister Amit Shah presented the Lokmanya Tilak National Award 2026 to National Security Adviser Ajit Doval at a ceremony in Pune on August 1, marking the 106th death anniversary of freedom fighter Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Doval was honoured for his contribution to strengthening India's national security, intelligence, counter-terrorism efforts and strategic policymaking.
