A consultative meeting between the Judicial Service Commission, the Senior Counsel Bar and the Law Society of Kenya failed to resolve the impasse over corruption in the Judiciary. The LSK maintains that its targeted boycott of specific court stations and judicial officers will remain in force until meaningful corrective measures are taken. The JSC, however, maintains that due process must be followed and views the LSK boycott as punishment of court users.
