At around 12:05 p.m. yesterday, Thursday, June 18, 2026, police were called for reports of an ongoing incident at Lester B. Pearson High School, located in the 3000 block of 52 Street N.E. It was reported that a youth armed with a knife was smashing property, threating students and staff and had attempted to stab a student. The school was placed on lockdown as multiple calls continued to come in reporting the suspect’s movements within the school.
