An al-Qaeda terrorist who plotted to bomb Bluewater shopping centre went before the Parole Board this week in a fresh bid for freedom. Salahuddin Amin was part of a five-strong al-Qaeda cell jailed for life in 2007 for planning a wave of UK bombings using chemical fertiliser devices. Amin was given a minimum term of 17 and a half years and was last refused parole in 2024, when the board ruled he may still pose a danger to the public. He was also refused a transfer to an open prison at that time. He previously alleged his confession to being a Taliban sympathiser was forced. Three of his fellow conspirators have already been released, with one deported to Pakistan. #Terror #Bluewater #uknews #PatrickChristys #GBNews Keep up to date with GB News at gbnews.com or on X @GBNEWS Become a Friend of GB News: gbnews.com/friend
