A sightseeing plane carrying 11 foreign tourists and two crew members crashed shortly after taking off from Pisco Airport in southern Peru on Saturday, killing all 13 people on board. The aircraft was headed on a scenic flight over the world-famous Nazca Lines when it went down around 1 pm local time. Peruvian police confirmed there were no survivors, while officials launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
