A funeral director who hoarded bodies and gave grieving relatives the wrong ashes has been jailed for 20 years. A court heard how Robert Bush, who ran Legacy Independent Funeral Directors in Hull, failed to carry out promised cremations and handed people remains that did not belong to their loved ones. Sisters Larraine Abel and Maxine Lister say they are appalled and disgusted by funeral director Bush’s actions after discovering they had been given the wrong ashes of their late aunt, Maureen Graham. The family were also denied the chance to see justice together after Maureen’s son, who had arranged her funeral, died in his 50s last year before the case concluded. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Broadcast on 03/08/26 Stream Good Morning Britain live, every weekday from 6am on the ITVX 📲 http://daytimelink.itv.com/WatchGMBYT Subscribe now for more! http://bit.ly/1NbomQa Like, follow and subscribe to Good Morning Britain!
