Sudden flight cancellations stemming from the WestJet flight attendant strike have left thousands of passengers stranded and scrambling at the Ottawa International Airport. CTV's Natalie van Rooy speaks with passenger Nicki Gapero, who says she might miss a connecting flight to Paris after her Ottawa flight was cancelled Sunday afternoon. Picket lines formed outside the terminal with workers holding signs demanding fair pay, while long lineups and four-hour phone wait times frustrated passengers inside. Travellers visiting the nation's capital are now struggling to find alternative accommodations and standby flights as the airline's schedule remains heavily disrupted.
