A Malaysian pilot has been arrested in Indonesia after authorities allegedly found more than 70,000 ecstasy pills and methamphetamine in his luggage. Investigators say the pilot had just flown a passenger aircraft from Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta and later tested positive for methamphetamine, MDMA and cocaine. Police believe he was working as a courier for an international drug syndicate and claim this may not have been his first smuggling attempt. Under Indonesia's strict anti-drug laws, he could face life imprisonment or even the death penalty. Malaysia Airlines has launched an internal review while pledging full cooperation with investigators.
