From coal mine to cool home: Xuzhou's green cooling solution #coolchina

As temperatures top 35 degrees Celsius in Xuzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province, some residents are finding ways to keep their home cool – without air conditioning. Using 19 degrees Celsius groundwater from an abandoned coal mine, this cooling system circulates through existing underfloor heating pipes, keeping temperatures in home below 26 degrees Celsius.
