Greens senator Sarah Hanson-Young has called Pauline Hanson a "political coward" over the One Nation leader's decision to ban the ABC and The Guardian from attending her press conferences. "This is a person who is scared of scrutiny, a politician who thinks that she should have the right to say whatever she wants, but no one else should have the right to ask questions," Hanson-Young said. Hanson was questioned about the media bans at a press conference at a One Nation fundraiser where she announced eight Victorian election candidates. Hanson defended her decision, saying the ABC was "not fair and just" in its reporting of her and One Nation.
