Iran denies negotiating with US as Trump makes 'decapitation' threat

US President Donald Trump has said he will give Iran "every last chance before decapitation" while saying talks between the two countries are "going on right now". However, Trump criticised the Iranian leaders for not being "straight" about the public status of negotiation talks, adding: "they'll sometimes deny it, even though they spend hours and hours together talking ... the talks are going on". Meanwhile, Iran has clearly stated it is in negotiation talks with Oman, not the US, over a new route through the Strait of Hormuz. Baghaei also issued a warning to Trump's government, adding, "as long as the current US evil acts continue, there will naturally be no significant development or major change in the situation".
