Xbox Reveals Shocking New Series X and S Prices - IGN Daily Fix

In today's Daily Fix: Xbox has revealed the prices for their previously announced new price hike for the Series X and Series S. In the Europe and U.K., the consoles will cost roughly a third more than their current price across all models. In the U.S. the Xbox Series S 512GB model—the lowest-end of the Series family—is now an eye-watering $499.99, the same price the higher-end Series X launched at in 2020. In the U.K., the Xbox Series X 1TB with disc drive is now £669.99 (was £499.99) and in Europe, it's €799.99 (was €599.99). The Xbox Series X 2TB model has been discontinued entirely. In other news, Nintendo has announced a new Direct focusing on the upcoming Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. The Nintendo Direct will premiere tomorrow, August 4th 7am PST.
