A Turkish-operated cargo vessel has reportedly been hit by Ukrainian drones near the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, raising fresh concerns over the widening maritime dimension of the Russia-Ukraine war. According to Turkey's Directorate General of Maritime Affairs (DGM), the Cameroon-flagged Nadezhda was sailing to the Turkish port of Samsun when it came under attack. The vessel reportedly sustained damage to its bow and living quarters, while three crew members were injured. Russian vessels responded by evacuating the crew.
