Private discount schemes aimed at disabled people are offering price cuts on holidays, luxury items and even adult toys, according to an investigation by the Telegraph. Critics have raised concerns that the discounts could incentivise people to claim benefits, while bosses of the schemes say the discounts are privately funded and helps to offset the additional costs people with disabilities face.  Coronation Street star Cherylee Houston, who raises awareness of and advocates for disabled people, joined Charlotte Hawkins, Richard Madeley and Angela Rippon on the GMB sofa this morning. She explained that many people with disabilities not only face extra costs, but have also been subject to cuts.
