Rupert Lowe publicly offered to cooperate with Nigel Farage subject to five policy conditions. Farage said he had approached the proposal with an open mind and contacted Lowe about having a conversation, although negotiations had not begun. Lowe subsequently accused Farage of misrepresenting their private exchange. He said Farage had written “will call later” but had not called, while maintaining that his offer remained open.
