In June, Hasan Piker was denied entry to the UK after the Home Office said his presence would "not be conducive to the public good." The popular internet streamer and political commentator said the ban stemmed from his pro-Palestine activism, preventing him from speaking at the SXSW festival in London and also addressing the Oxford Union. [Subscribe to our Substack newsletter: https://channel4news.substack.com/subscribe] Piker has risen to become a highly influential figure in left-wing politics in the US and is currently in Michigan supporting progressive Democratic candidates Abdul El-Sayed and Donavan McKinney in primaries. Channel 4 News spoke to Piker to ask about his denial to enter the UK and if he plans to re-apply now that Prime Minister Andy Burnham is in Downing Street. He also responds to claims of antisemitism and why far-right politics seems to be gaining momentum in the UK and United States. ------- Get more news at our site - https://www.channel4.com/news/ Subscr
