Yemen’s Houthis say they have carried out a precision drone attack against a “sensitive asset” at Saudi Arabia’s Najran Airport. Military spokesperson Yahya Saree described the operation as retaliation for alleged Saudi drone activity over northern Yemen. He did not identify the facility allegedly struck, disclose the type of drone used or provide evidence confirming the damage. Saudi authorities have not verified the Houthi claim. Najran lies close to the Saudi-Yemeni border and has previously faced missile and drone attacks. The latest operation comes as the relative calm established under the 2022 truce rapidly deteriorates.
