A 14-year-old boy has died after jumping into the water to a cool off in a "no swimming" area of the River Thames. The London Fire Brigade (LFB) and the Metropolitan Police searched the Millwall Outer Dock near East Ferry Road following reports of the incident at 6.50pm yesterday. His body was recovered at about 10.30pm that evening and was later pronounced dead.
