Sky News understands FIFA president Gianni Infantino has summoned senior staff to emergency talks in Morocco as pressure grows over his leadership. The meeting comes after Infantino abandoned controversial plans to sell a stake in the FIFA World Cup following widespread criticism. Sky News has exclusively obtained an email from FIFA Secretary General Matthias Grafstrom describing the episode as a "sad and reproachable series of events", while FIFA's chief of global football development, Arsene Wenger, has also distanced himself from the project.
