The Reserve Bank of India kept its benchmark rate unchanged for a fourth straight review as it waits to see whether higher energy costs from the Iran war spill over into broader inflation. Prior to the decision, Standard Chartered Bank Head of India Economic Research Anubhuti Sahay told us the country's inflation has been benign so far, but the cushion is thinner than it appears.
