Reform UK's chairman Lee Anderson has defended his party's plan to use the navy to return small boats in the English Channel to France, despite the French government calling the proposals "illegal". Nigel Farage announced the plans, dubbed Operation Fortress, at a press conference on Monday. But while the Reform UK chairman claims the policy would "save lives", Charlotte Hawkins tells him it is "not workable".
