AMD has taken the results of the co-development into FSR 4, while we've taken them into the new PSSR." When we reviewed Resident Evil Requiem, we noted that image quality on PlayStation 5 Pro was simply superb - game-changingly so up against the standard PS5 version. We called it a temporal upscaler without expressly naming it but now it's confirmed - it is a new version of PSSR. The community has dubbed it PSSR 2.0 but to Sony it's still just "PSSR".
