True peace isn’t simply the absence of conflict, but a profound state of being found in the most unexpected of places. This talk explores the core of the humanitarian mindset, a perspective forged through years of responding to global crises, from the frontlines of pandemic situation of COVID-19 ICUs to witnessing the unfathomable depths of suffering in Gaza. The harrowing reality that even those who dedicate their lives to helping are lost on both sides of a conflict raises a haunting question: when humanity itself feels broken, how can we differentiate between lives? Through stories of loss, resilience, and the sacrifices of Humanitarian Organizations like Red Cross Red Crescent colleagues and friends, this talk reveals that every life matters. Peace, therefore, emerges from the unyielding courage to uphold neutrality and impartiality, from the compassion to heal, and from the persistent hope that, even in the darkest moments, shared humanity can light the way. - Ex-Manager of Skills
