What if mental health wasn’t just a state or something we coped with—but a skill, like leadership or creativity, that anyone can build? A muscle that we can develop with self-awareness. For years, workplace mental health was reactive; but approaches to mental health at the individual, team and organisational level can be a lot more proactive than what is often assumed. In this talk, Cambridge Professor Thomas Roulet goes through those three levels of analysis to understand what it means to develop wellbeing intelligence, exploring concrete approaches to improving mental health. Thomas Roulet is Professor of Organizational Sociology and Leadership at the University of Cambridge and Fellow at King’s College. His work explores leadership, workplace culture, mental health, and the future of work, advising organizations and policymakers across the UK. A Forbes columnist and acclaimed author, his insights have been featured in the Financial Times, The Economist, Bloomberg, and Harvard Busine
