Todd Blanche’s nomination to become Attorney General is moving forward after the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday advanced his nomination in a vote along party lines. Republican Senators John Cornyn and Thom Tillis supported Blanche after he gave them memos stating the Justice Department would not move forward with President Trump's so-called ‘anti-weaponization fund’ and clarified the terms of the President's tax audit immunity agreement with the IRS.
