Michigan’s closely watched Democratic Senate primary race is still too close to call this morning. As of right now, progressive candidate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed remains in the lead, with Congresswoman Haley Stevens trailing by less than two percent. The race is a lot closer than polling indicated. Regardless of who wins, the primary race paints a clearer picture of where voters and the Democratic party stands heading into the midterms and further ahead to 2028.
