Update: CNN projects that Abdul El-Sayed will win the Michigan Democratic primary election for Senate. The Democratic Senate primary in Michigan is still too early to call, with Abdul El-Sayed’s lead over Rep. Haley Stevens tightening. As of 8:40 am ET, El-Sayed’s lead had tightened to fewer than 15,000 votes in the state after more votes came in from Wayne and Oakland counties. Wayne County is home to Detroit and the state’s largest and traditionally one of its slowest-counting counties. 0:00 CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten breaks down the latest numbers at the magic wall 3:44 CNN's Jeff Zeleny reports from Detroit 5:01 Abdul El-Sayed speaks to CNN about the tight race 7:17 John Berman at the magic wall with an update on the count Abdul El-Sayed speaks live at 10:30 ET: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkbaKRBGBQ0 Watch 24/7 live news with CNN Headlines: https://bit.ly/4eIvlTr #Michigan #Primary #News
